CLOK club development officer appointment
We are pleased to announce that CLOK have appointed Mary Fleming to their Club Development Officer role that the Orienteering Foundation is supporting them with.
Back in July we said we were seeking project partners for one or more projects we were keen to see happen. We received a number of applications, and decided to go forward on a project with Cleveland Orienteering Klub (CLOK) to appoint and co-fund a Club Development Officer - see details of that previous announcement here.
We are now pleased to report that CLOK have appointed Mary Fleming to the CDO role. You can read more about the appointment from CLOK's chair Caroline Mackenzie, as well as Mary's background and her passion for the role, on CLOK's website here.
We will be staying in touch with CLOK in the coming months, and reporting back with progress. One of the Orienteering Foundation's key goals in setting up this project was to learn from the experience with a view to sharing best practice that other clubs can follow. We wish CLOK and Mary every success!
