ORIENTEERING FOUNDATION

New ambassadors Caroline Mackenzie and Philip Jenkins

We are delighted to welcome Caroline and Philip as ambassadors for the North East and Wales respectively.

Duncan Archer, who was previously ambassador in the North East, has recently moved to the Lake District. Stepping into his shoes as Orienteering Foundation ambassador for the North East is Caroline Mackenzie from Cleveland Orienteering Klub. She is already experienced in the workings of the Orienteering Foundation through grant applications for CLOK's club development officer. She is currently CLOK Chair and will be co-organising the British Long Champs 2024 next year. Duncan continues to be involved with the Orienteering Foundation handling the website, social media and email newsletter.

Philip Jenkins joins as ambassador for Wales. He has been orienteering since the 1970s and is a long-standing member of Swansea Bay Orienteering Club. He has held many club positions including WOA Chairman, and planned, controlled and organised many regional and club events.

You can read full biographies for Caroline and Philip on our Meet our Ambassadors page, and find their contact details along with the rest of the board and our ambassadors on our Getting in Touch page.
