West Midlands JK 2018 donation
We are very grateful for a significant donation from several of the clubs involved in staging the JK 2018 in the West Midlands.
At Easter 2018 the West Midlands Orienteering Association (WMOA) staged a very successful JK festival of orienteering at MOD Stafford (Sprint), Brereton Spurs (middle), and Beaudesert (long and relays) in Cannock Chase. Being centrally located in the country and easily accessible to many orienteers, as well as promising a top quality event, helped boost entry numbers. Several of the clubs involved in staging the event - namely OD, HOC, COBOC, WRE, WCH and RSOC - have decided to make very generous donations from the event surplus to the Orienteering Foundation.
Donations such as this make a very real difference to our ability to help fund projects that meet the objectives of the Orienteering Foundation, and we are really grateful for their support.
