New trustees - Anne Edwards and John Mather
We are delighted to welcome two new trustees to the board - Anne Edwards (LOC) and John Mather (LOG)
After Georgia Jones stepped down as a trustee earlier in the year we have been on the hunt for new trustees (and ambassadors) and are delighted to welcome Anne Edwards and John Mather.
Anne started orienteering as a junior, has won the Future Champions Cup, JK, and British, represented GBR at four JWOCs, coached juniors on training camps in the UK and abroad, and now coaches improving juniors and adult beginners in LOC. She describes herself as a huge orienteering evangelist, convinced that the sport has a lot to offer juniors and young adults.
John is an active club orienteer, LOG chair 2017-2022, and a UKCC Level 2 Coach working with East Midlands juniors. He brings experience of the charitable and non-profit sectors, and is keen to see the sport grow with the help of the Orienteering Foundation.
