South London Orienteers (SLOW) have produced eight training videos especially aimed at juniors and newcomers. The videos are presented by different athletes from the GB Orienteering team - many of whom have been supported by the Orienteering Foundation in the past.

The aim of the series is to help juniors deal with more technically demanding courses, but these films can also be used to show beginners how to get started in our sport. Each video focuses on a specific orienteering skill.

The videos were launched on South London Orienteers' You Tube channel once a week through January and February 2019. The 5 minute videos are designed to be downloaded to phones or tablets. The video releases were linked to races and coaching sessions taking place across the South East: watch a film, focus on a technique and have a successful run - but of course anyone in the country can benefit from them!

In addition there is a 5 minute video presented by Graham Gristwood which gives an overview on all the basics you need to know when first taking up orienteering.
