Seeking Independent Financial Examiner
The Orienteering Foundation is seeking a volunteer Independent Financial Examiner to conduct the annual examination of our accounts.
We are a registered charity promoting and supporting orienteering across the UK. We operate receipts and payments accounts driven largely by donations with an annual income of between £15,000 and £25,000. All financial data is prepared by a volunteer accountant with a well-maintained comprehensive workbook, fully backed by bank statements and transaction detail.
We require a suitably qualified volunteer, ideally themselves an orienteer, to undertake the examination for our 2026 financial year (1st January – 31st December). This will be required in January 2027 to fit in with planned Trustee meetings.
