“The Run In” podcast grant

The Run In

We are pleased to announce support for server and music costs for The Run In, the UK's orienteering podcast.

The Run In is a podcast for the UK orienteering community. Each fortnightly episode features an in-depth interview with a notable orienteer, for example current GB and foreign elites, former internationals and juniors. Presenters Katherine Bett and Will Gardner also discuss the latest news and preview upcoming races. The particular focus is on making the world of elite and international orienteering accessible to club orienteers, hence raising awareness of the national team, and inspiring others to improve their orienteering. They have just started a new series called The Run In: Sprint, where they ask their guest a series of quick-fire questions, allowing them to publish weekly content.

The grant award from the Orienteering Foundation covers their server and music costs for the 2020/21 season, allowing the podcast to continue to reach a wide audience - each episode attracts about 400-600 listeners, although the most popular episode has more than 1500 listens.

You can keep up with the latest news from The Run In on Facebook  and access the podcasts on Stitcher.
