LOC year 2 club development report
Lakeland Orienteering Club first introduced their club development officer role in 2022. We are now pleased to share the end of year 2 report - PDF.
LOC's club development officer Kath Savage continues to do great things with their family's project. This includes a whole variety of standalone activities for newcomers, especially targeting families, as well as newcomer friendly courses at regular events, to encourage a smooth pathway for newcomers into mainstream orienteering. We previously announced our award for a third year of funding, where LOC's focus is to find a way to make the club responsibilities part of the core operation of the club, and self sustaining for future years.
