Over £500 raised from Lakes 5 Days entry donations
When entering the Lakes 5 Dyas 2026, entrants had the option of making an additional donation to the Orienteering Foundation. We are delighted to say £590 was raised through such donations.
Third Year of LVO Juniors & Families Development Project
The Orienteering Foundation is pleased to support Lagan Valley Orienteers (LVO) for a third year of their Juniors & Families Development Officer initiative. This extension builds directly on the strong results highlighted in LVO’sand will help the club consolidate its growth in junior participation.
JHI 2027 ceilidh, medals and mementoes
We are pleased to award a grant to Cleveland Orienteering Klub (CLOK) to support their hosting of the 2027 Junior Home Internationals to go towards high‑quality medals, meaningful mementos, and the continuation of the event’s traditional ceilidh.
LVO Juniors and Families Project Report
Lagan Valley Orienteers have now completed their two-year juniors and families project, supported by an Orienteering Foundation grant, and their final report shows just how much has been achieved. The project focused on welcoming juniors and families into the club through a dedicated officer role, with impressive results in membership growth, family engagement and junior progression.

Forest of Dean Coaching Day 21st November 2026
North Gloucestershire Orienteering Club will be holding a coaching day in the Forest of Dean on Saturday 21st November 2026, in a similar format to ones held in recent years in the Lake District and last year in South Wales, which are supported by The Orienteering Foundation.
We are particularly keen to promote coaching of adult orienteers, who are often under-served, but also warmly welcome clubs and junior squads.
Lakes Coaching Day 28th November 2026
There will be another Orienteering Foundation coaching day on Saturday 2t8th November, provisionally at Simpson Ground, Lake District. Registration now open - come as an individual or as part of a group.
