Lochaber development update
A year ago we approved funding for development of orienteering in the Fort William and Lochaber area, to run alongside the Scottish 6 days (award here). Read on for a report of the progress they have made!

Welsh Champs and Orienteering Foundation Ambassadors
The organisers of the Welsh Middle and Long Distance Championship events at Merthyr Common on 11th/12th September kindly allowed us to showcase the Orienteering Foundation by erecting our sail banner with information cards attached to it. In addition to helping to raise the awareness of the Foundation amongst event participants, we were also hoping that there may be someone who is willing to become our Orienteering Foundation Ambassador for Wales.

Coaching day Nov 2021
After a year off during lockdown, the Orienteering Foundation is pleased to announce support for another coaching day in the Lakes on Saturday 20th November 2021, in a similar format to previous ones (Nov 2019 and Nov 2018). We are particularly keen to promote coaching of adult orienteers, who are often under-served, but also welcome groups including juniors. Details of the day are below. Put the date in your diaries, and either sign up as an individual, or think about encouraging your club to attend as a group!
